By: Robert Thomson

At the moment you decide to be a professional wedding photographer, a few great questions arise. And is, how to learn to become a professionalwedding photographer? The emphasis here is on the word professional, since anyone who takes pictures, assuming that the photographs are relative clear and properly exposed, can be considered a wedding photographer. And also question is whether to freelance or work for a studio.

Apprenticeship may be a overdone expression in most other fields; it is, however, the easiest way to learn wedding photography. To really appreciate the stress and complexities encountered, you could go out and see what it's like.. In the beginning, it's best to just watch and to ask questions during breaks-not while the photographer is stressed. put down concerns and your thoughts and you see fit. Find a studio who is willing, competent, and capable of educating. Some photographers could imply and think that they are absolute masters, which might be their ego. The only road to judge for yourself is to see their photographs and compare it to that of others. If it stands out in your mind as being greater, then certainly ask to be taken. Mentors leave long impressions. If you have a good one, you will presumably have a nice basis on which to increase your skills. A not competent mentor can begin you off with poor habits that you may not recognize at first and may find difficult to break, assuming that you even can see that you are doing something not right.
Books, seminars, afternoon classes, online forums and resources are also great sources of knowledge. Some professional organizations have great learning seminars as well.
Most studios want people who are experienced and show some samples of their work. Some however, may train you if they feel that you have potential and show a desire to learn and go further. Some studios may even retrain you even if you have a n outstanding experience, since some studios have their own different style. They may show you how to take your skills and apply it, so that your vision can match to theirs more closely.
Freelancing is the most hard way to get your foot into the industry. Most people have no idea how to create and do their business, where to get albums, talk to the clients, put out advertisements, use business software . You can could learn it all by yourself, but it may take years for you, making costly mistakes along the way.
