The Maybe Jane Bio - This is a tough one for us, since we don't really know where we all came from, let
alone where the hell we are now.

Our influences on this kind of music we are playing are all over the place, from Berlin to Blondie,
Sonic Youth to The Crystal Method, The Breeders to The Plasmatics plus Patti Smith, Josie Cotton, The Waitresses, and on and on. We have recently been dubbed "The All Girl Slut Band From Hell" from one of our not so favorable reviewers (whose name we refuse to mention, since they don't need any fucking help from us) but have to admit its kind of on the money in a wierd sort of unflattering but maybe its the truth kind of way.

Basically its birth (New England, Czech Republic,Colorado), school, discover sex, get in trouble,
discover drugs, more trouble, re-discover sex, more trouble now than ever. Get jobs, get fired..get apartments,
get evicted: get bands together, work work work work hard work, breakup. Get boyfriends, kiss, lick,
suck ...break up......try girlfriends, try college, try anything once or twice...try try try and more bullshit
and more time slides by and on and on.

We will be spending the summer/early fall in eastern Europe at a friends house in Czech Republic.
We may do some recording in Berlin, and plan to spend a few weeks in Amsterdamn consumng mass quanities
of anything and everything they have to offer, and then some.

If the USA lets us back in in the spring, we may do some small shows, depending on support from our
new label, and how well The Red Couch and our new videos do.

We hope you love it all, and thank everybody who helped us get all this shit together over the last
year or so. jane and the girls.
