One of the most interesting features of Andorra is that it has the largest skiing area in the Pyrenees divided in two resorts named- Vallnord and Grandvalira. Grandvalira is the largest ski area in the Pyrenees with 193 km of runs. Grandvalira has six access points and Pas de la Casa is the biggest one and also, the liveliest. The following are some of the most important tips to be in kept in mind when going to Pas de la Casa. 1) Grandvalira has 110 ski runs, 18 green, 38 blue, 32 red and 22 black. So, Pas de la Casa is suitable for experienced skiers and beginners, so families are very welcomed. 2) Usually, hotels and apartments are very near of the sky slopes. So if you don’t want you won’t need to take your car during your stay. 3) You can park outside at the beginning and at the end of pas de la casa, where there are two big park areas, nevertheless renting a parking is a good idea to avoid low temperatures or snowing in your car. 4) You can do shopping easily and by foot in Pas de la casa, there are plenty of supermarkets, pharmacies, perfumeries, sports centre … Nevertheless, for a better shopping you should take your car and go to Andorra la Vella.
